Lysaker, 15 March 2011

23 hours for trading Sunday 27 March 2011 due to transition to British summer time (BST)

At 01.00 a.m. GMT on Sunday 27 March (week 12) clocks are adjusted forward to 02.00 a.m. BST as time changes from standard time (GMT) to British summer time (BST). Sunday will because of this have 23 hours open for trading.

N2EX prompt market

The clock changes will not affect any prompt trading times but a few instruments will have a shorter delivery period than normal:

  • 4H-20110327-B1 (3 hours)
  • DB-20110327 (23 hours)
  • DON-20110327 (7 hours)
  • DOP-20110327 (11 hours)
  • WEB-2011-12 (47 hours)
  • WEON-2011-12 (15 hours)
  • WEOP-2011-12 (23 hours)
  • WB-2011-12 (167 hours)

N2EX auction market

There will be only 23 hours open for trading for delivery date 27 March. Hour 3 (01.00 a.m. - 02.00 a.m.) will be removed from the ordering schedule. Therefore, hour 2 will be followed by hour 4.

Please note that in SAPRI trade the "single order" window for period 3 is removed. Therefore, period 2 is followed by period 4 so that orders for the auction with delivery on 28 March will contain 23 periods.
